Advising
Advising
New students are assigned advisors before arriving to campus for new student orientation. During new student orientation - held at the beginning of every semester - students have the opportunity to meet with their advisor to discuss their study plans. Students are required to meet with their advisor on a semester basis, and need their approval to register for new courses.

Registration
Registration is held each semester on the dates noted in the school calendar. During the first two weeks of classes, students must consult with their academic advisors about their selection of courses. The advisor wil in turn enter the approved courses into the school registration system. Procedures for BTI cross-registration involve obtaining a cross-registration form from Weston Jesuit’s registrar and taking the form to the host school’s registrar for a signature, and then returning a copy to Weston’s registrar. Remember that every BTI school has a different schedule and vacation time.

Course Changes/Course Withdrawal
During the first two weeks of classes, students may make changes in their course selections with the agreement of their faculty advisor. After this period, a student may drop a course only by approval of the faculty advisor and by formal withdrawal. Students will need to complete and return a Petition for Withdrawal form. Please note that students who wish to withdraw from two or more courses will need approval from the Dean.

A student may formally withdraw from a course until November 1 in the fall semester and until April 1 in the spring semester; this withdrawal will be noted by a W (Withdrawal without prejudice) on his or her transcript. Any withdrawal done after November 1 in the fall semester or April 1 in the spring semester will be noted with a WF (Withdrawal Failing) on his or her transcript.
